My husband is just completing his spouse visa (uk) to which our 2 year old daughter will also be part off just wanted to know if she still had to hava medical as well?

If she is a registered Australian citizen, no.

if she is to go on his visa then yes, she will have a medical, If you are Australian have you thought of applying for citizenship for daughter? then she will not need medical.

i only gained citizenship by descent this year so i cannot apply for her to become a citizen

thats a shame, the medicals for kids are very simple, no blood taken and i dont think at your childs age they ask for xray, just a simple check over to make sure everything is OK.
