Or Will it takes time for them to contact us for the next thing we have to do? And What to expect will be the next step? Thanks.
Makarakarn
@JenMac It should take some time until your turn and they would notified you so don't worry, the next step depends on your application but I think usually it would be medical check and police check. What's your queue date? Mine is August 2017 which is in this year's range, but it's near October so I guess I'll have to wait a few more months. Sorry if my English is wrong somewhere I don't speak English Also, I wanted to ask everyone that my mother is the main applicant and we applied when I was under 18 so it fits the requirements that I have to dependent on my mom, but years pass and I'm 24 now and have a job, do I still eligible for the visa? They did mention I was in the application in the queue letter. I ask my acquaintance lawyer and he said it doesn't matter my age now because they only count the age when we first lodge the application. So does it true I just want to assure? Thanks.

Tris836
@Makarakarn I believe your age on QD will be counted because when you started this you were eligible and that’s why you were given a QD. how’s your application now? Any good news?

My Queue date is December 2017. Is there any one can estimate roughly how long i have to wait ! I have been so frustrated for waiting and have been thinking to give up and go back my country, since i am on financial hardship and have to financially support my partner who is the main applicant carer and has no right to work. thanks ! VISA: CARER 836 QD: DEC 2017 Hi Bryan! Hang in there mate.I also felt the same way as you do.I felt discouraged at times also.I think that’s normal. But don’t give up. Being a carer is not an easy job.I am taking care of my 88 years old grandma here in Australia for more than 4 years and my wife and daughter is still on my home country.I am hoping that I will have my visa soon. So,let’s hope and pray it will be granted to us soon.Your QD is Dec 2017 and mine is April 2018.So,I believe its just around the corner And also, please correct me if I am wrong, but the way I see and understand the update on immigration website is that the number of visa for Remaining Relative and Aged Dependent Relative are the ones who reached the annual quota? But not for the carers visa?Does it mean that there is still a few number of visas for carers for the financial year July 2019-June 2020?Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for your encourage! As far as I know carer visa is part of other family visa. So they won't release any application until July this year. But there would be no update or more QD to be released If there were lot of QD which are meant to be released on last year that have not been released :(

VERYSTORMY
Given they have announced that parent visas are no longer being processed, I would say a good assumption is these are not either.

Our agent contacted us again last Oct 28 because the CO asked some documents to provide. But in our case why they need another health assessment to the patient? Are you aware bryan about the expiration of health assessment? Because they said the health assessment is already expired so we need to get another CVAC. i dont know. Yes, they need us to provide another CVAC as it has been 3 years, they want to know if there is any change to the patient, in my case I just need to provide gp or specialist's medical letter instead of health check from Bupa. That is quick for your case. As your Q number is 2018.

Ok so stressing because we need to talk to treating doctor and its not easy to get immediately to get the medical certificate and they give us 28 days to do this. But incase we cant finish we need to talk the CO to give us more time to do. I hope and pray that after this we get our Visa. Keep updating bryan. Thank you for the reply.
