We do not want to live in Whittlesea but are considering Banyale, Manningham, Nillumbik and Boroondara. NOW MY QUESTION IS! Does anyone know of a decent safe suburb (we have two kids, 3 years and 6 months) a maximum of a 45 minute drive to Epping? Petals Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Have a look at the Banyule Council Site and it will give you an idea of the suburbs in Banyule. olly Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 You could look at Eltham, Greensborough, Doncaster or Templestowe and surrounding suburbs, the Western Ring Road around that area is pretty good travelling around and about, and handy to the city and airport etc. Most of the freeways/tollways round the suburban network get you anywhere, some traffic snarls at certain points though.
