mandymcqueen Posted July 30, 2007 Share Posted July 30, 2007 Please help, I am soooo confused, I thought that you could apply for a visa through General Skilled Migration if you didnt have a qualification in the desired field but did have more than 6 years experience?? Having looked at the applications etc it seems that for Personnel Officer you would have to have your skills assessed by VETASSESS but after looking at their website it says they only assess qualiciations and not work experience etc. So how do you go about applying if you dont have a qualification but do have the experience. please help Mandy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jay290901 Posted July 30, 2007 Share Posted July 30, 2007 We are in the same position. No formal qualifications so Vetassess won't recognise my OH skills obtained through work experience. We are going down the route of trying to find an employer to sponsor us. It seems that this is the only option available to us. Hope this helps.
