Finally, i can now turn the whole of 2009 applicants a different colour, you were looking lonely as you were. Hope the Case Officer is kind and doesn't keep you waiting.

Thanks Gaz, i wont be so lonely anymore. Orange looks good on me. :-))

Hi All

Just thought I would join your thread, i have been around for a while but in the QLD then, how we have had a change of heart and going to Adelaide.

We have our medicals booked for the next friday....1st April not a good bloody date but hey the only date we could get. Our police checks was finalised last week....so all systems go and doesnt sound to long before i will be on the big bird.

We originally applied for the 175 visa, then due to the many changes DIAC make we switched to the 176 SS for QLD which we recieved in Feb last yr, any to cut a long story short when we go a case officer they still had us down for the 175...brilliant news we could now live anywhere. We was going off the idea of QLD due to the lack of work, humidty, and house prices are expensive. So Adelaide here we come.

Well anyway thats enought of me, hope to meet some next people on there way to Adelaide.

Hi everyone!

i tried to search for it, couldn't find the answer.

The CO asked for the 2nd installement, but in the mean time he was talking about 1-2 weeks for a final assessment unless more internal/external checks are to be made...

what does this mean? is it a good sign to pay the 2nd installment?

TOday I inquired about my medical result at HOC got this reply

"

Thank you for your e-mail. The medical results you are enquiring about have

been processed. These have been recorded in our system and can be accessed

by the case officer to enable them to process the visa application. Please

allow the system overnight to update in order to reflect these results on

your EVisa.

Please contact the case officer to follow-up on the progress of the visa

application.

"

Hi there - really good news. Hope all is well and that you hear more news on visa processing soon. We are still referred but fingers crossed for next week (as they have been for three weeks - it's making it difficult to type..... ) we were just a few days behind you..

Hi Maxim

Let's hope so... if you look back on the previous posts it seems like as long as everything else is met, most people seem to get their visas pretty quickly - maybe 10 days or so..

Good luck and hope our visas aren't far away..
