I have an Aussie partner and 2 kids, boy & girl, aged 13 & 11. We would like to meet some pommie's to socialise with as we are missing home and talking to people who are in the same situation. We would love it if anyone has children of around the same age to help our children settle too! I am now in the same situation as you were back when you posted this! I also live in PC area and would like to meet some other mums. We have only been in Oz 12wks and moved to this area 2 wks ago. Guest izzie Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 I lived in Adel when I moved up to Leeds - no, I'm not posh! - then lived in East Leeds, Crossgates and Kippax. Worked at Armley jail for a while. The weekend would be best for me, I work all during the week and at the moment am living in North Melbourne, so it's difficult getting over to PC on an evening...but Saturday/Sunday brunch would be good if you're around?
