I am looking to find friends as I have just become a mum and feel a little isolated now as all of the friends I made when arriving in Oz are single party girls!! As you can imagine I no longer have so much in common with them I am 27 and my fiancé is Ausralian and also 27. We have a daughter who is now 10 weeks old. She is my 1st child and I don't have any friends with children as all my previous friends were single party girls. My partner is Australian and I have been here in oz with him for a year and a half. We are 29/24 (Cornwall, UK/Germany) and currently living in Northbridge, but looking to move elsewhere soon.. We should arrange a BBQ get together on the beach!! Anyone up for it?? I know how you feel me and OH (27/28) moved over in May 2011 and althou we have made friends in work we need a social circle around us. We had some very good friends bk home that we truly miss. Were both from liverpool and were now living in Waikiki SOR and building a house in Mandurah. I work in rockingham in child care and my OH works in Fremantle. We'v been so busy wen we first got here that its only just startin to settle down an we feel we can start socialising. If anyone is around this area (or we dont mind travelling) we would love to meet up for a drink, watch the footie or have a BBQ PM me.
