My boyfriend and I are looking to find some local friends to meet up with at the weekends. We are 27 and 31 and love going to the beach, having BBQ's and are just getting into some of the outdoor activities Australia has to offer. We also enjoy the usual things eatings, drinking, camping, climbing and kayaking and what ever else Sydney can throw at us.

Were 27 and Originally from Stoke on Trent, we've been here for about 2 1/2 years now, we have some great friends but you can never have enough. People come and go in this life.

If you all don’t mind I’m going to jump in on this post too… My wife and I moved here about 6 weeks ago so are still settling in. Not having any friends and family around us was a bit weird at Christmas - still Sydney is great and we’re so glad we headed here from the UK. We’re both from Milton Keynes (home of the MK Dons for any footie fans that haven’t heard of MK – sorry but that’s about the full extent of my football knowledge before it sparks any conversation about the “EPL”). We’re 30 and 31 years young and love travel, socialising, and generally being out the house (or should I say very small apartment!) would like to meet up for a few beers with any new potential British mates. We’re staying in Paddington which is walking distance from the City / Randwick / Bondi or a small hop on a bus to most places so we’d be up for meeting most places. Happy new year’s all
