There are a lot of Brits in the area Mt Martha and Mornington and they usually meet up a couple of times a year. The last meet up was cancelled as it fell on that very rainy Saturday recently.

Have a look at the Life in Victoria forum there is a link at the foot of this site.

We would be interested, we were going to go to the last one but it was cancelled due to the weather. We are on our own our kids are in the Uk and in Adelaide they are all in their early twentys. So we are up for socialising and a footloose and fancy free! Kath and Gordon

Where is st Kildare? We're in dromana so not sure how far it is?

Hi Berto, St Kilda is going toward the city at the beach. There is a building called the Bath House which has restaurants etc and it is there. Its at the big coffee shop there which faces the water and has a large outdoor area you can get lunch there or a beer etc if you wish. I think its on the 3rd of June, sunday between 2 and 5 there is a notice on the website about it. BTW if you havent been to St Kilda yet you should go, its full of interesting shops amazing cafes with the best cake shops all on a few streets, very eclectic mix of things to see,buy and interesting buildings etc plus if you have children Luna Park is there and its free to get in. Hi sally the meet up is organised for Sunday the 3rd of June 2pm - 5pm at the cafe at the bath house St Kilda. We will go cos its a chance to meet a few new people hopefully. I work during the week now full time but we are both off on the week ends. If you fancy meeting up for a coffee or better still a drink one night let us know and we would be happy to meet in Mornington or anywhere round this area, its not that far.

Hope you had a good time in the UK, how long have you been here now, and how did you find going back?
